GXWorks 'Sequenced' Program

3 posts in this topic

Hi All, I have a feeling this is going to prompt a 'don't' be so thick answer but it's driving me mad !!!!!!!!!!!! We are making the transition from GX Developer to GX Works and I'm struggling with one element. In the old GX Developer days most of our software is written in the STL method so making them very sequenced. Eg.. STL S10 RST Y0 LD X0 Set S20 etc etc This works well and I'd like to know if its possible to do something similar in GXWorks ? or can someone point me in the direction of a manual that covers sequencing :( Thanks and sorry for asking what I feel is a basic question Ian

STL was basically a way to 'fake' sequential function chart (SFC) programs in ladder. Write your program in SFC instead with GX Works2.
