I'm trying to implement a PID loop in my plc (FX3U). I know the basic working of a PID controller, but the manual(FX3U programming manual, JY997D16601) is not very clear on what the effect of different settings are. Are there better documents explaining PID loops in PLC's?

I've never seen anything but the programming manual when it comes to the PID instructions, but you could try to specify a bit better what you are wondering about...

Make sure you have the FX3U Analog manual, which goes into more detail about the PID instruction than the basic programming manual.

You can make a PID subprogram by yourself , then you will exactly understand what those setting mean.
