RSLogix Training software

Hello all, I am absolutely new to PLC programming. I am a Machine Repairman who is transitioning to Electro/Mechanic. I downloaded and installed the RSLogix Micro Englis, RSLogix Emmulator and RSLinx without incident. Running on a 2005 Gateway laptop with WinXP SP3. I can program a very simple circuit so far, and I can get it to RUN but how do I get it to STOP? I either kill it by choosing GO OFFLINE in the pulldown or by HLT in the Emmulator. What is the proper way? Thanks, John

You need to interrupt the circuit. Typically with an XIO -]/[- inline
