Hi there, anyone of you is experienced with pc104 standard? A customer asks me to program it, but i don't know how to start. I think it works under WinCE or XP Embedded. Is there a typical language for each vendor (like PLC programming) or have I to use only C or VBasic? Thanks Valerio

PC104 is a hardware standard, for small factor embedded systems and industrial computers. The few times I saw these small systems, they were always DOS (as in MS-DOS) based, but as you guessed probably you may have a choice between Windows Embedded or CE and some Linux. You should ask your customer what specific hardware he wants you to program, because the choice is quite ample and from there see what's available for development.
