NT30

I am trying to upload a program from the above screen. I put the screen into transfer mode but when I press enter on my computer to receive the program the screen alarm goes off and reception error is shown on the display. - Check Your COM Port settings , ( make sure that you selected the right COM Port for your communication ). - Check your programming cable wiring.

Walid Thanks for your reply just prior to trying to backup the NT30 I was able to back up a NT20. Rodney

It's possible the PLC is communicating to the NT30 via 'NT Link' or other protocol. If so, try changing the NT30's port setting to 'Host Link' for PC communications. If I remember correctly, it is found under the 'Maintenance Menu' >> 'Memory Switch' then go to the second page.
