Quick question. Can you interface a mitsubishi FXON-24MR-ES/UL with an allen bradley panelview 300

That's a question for AB, as they know which drivers they support. The FX has a serial port, so if they can communicate with it, the answer is yes. But I don't know what drivers they offer.

This particular panelview's protocol is DF1. Do you know if the FX can talk this?

FX does not support DF1 (this is AB protocol). As mentioned before, it is the HMI that needs to know the protocols of the PLC. In other words, your PV300 needs to talk Mitsi... Many HMIs are "multivendor" (support variety of PLCs) but PanelView Classic is not one of them: http://literature.rockwellautomation.com/i...br005_-en-p.pdf Another way is to just open software (PanelBuilder32) and try co create connection to target PLC. You will see that only AB PLCs are listed.
