Calculate Flow rate by pulses

Hi dear, I have a turbine flow meter with pulses output so i want a design a login for convert it into exact flow rate. could anyone tell abt the formulation or any idea for it. waiting for reply

Which platform? Depending on platform of PLC, some high speed I/O modules have this feature built into the card. Ken

Flowrate = CFM = Cubic Feet per Minute = FT2/Minute Pulses = what? = 1 pulse = 1 FT2? of flow Then you also have to have a timer to keep track of time say 60 second timer. Timer has a preset of 60 seconds Use a ADD instruction to count the pulses. use the Done bit on the timer to Move the register in the ADD instruction to another register. This register is in CFM Makes sense?
