how many amps can a FXo handle?

4 posts in this topic

I am about to try to install my Fx0 that you guys helped me program, and I was wondering how many amps can it handle? The coils that I am opening are 28 volts @ .19 amps. I have looked in the manuals and I can not find this info. I also wanted to run 2 ciols off of one y output. Thanks... David

I think the FX0 output relays are rated at 2 Amp Now there are some that say you should use interface relays on all outputs. But I have never used an interface relay for a contactor coil and some of my plc's have been banging away for 12 years without trouble. They are designed for contactor coils. DC valves and the like are another issue and I would always use interface relays there

All hardware specs are in the manuals, available at www.meau.com. The relay outputs are rated for 2A per point.
