GE Fanuc Series 90-30 and Omron CPM1A

Hi guys, anybody knows how I can receives data from an Omron CPM1A with a GE 90-30? Maybe... CPM1A to CPM1-CIF-01 to Modbus converter to GE90-30 ?!?!?!? Thank you Franky

I believe the only comm option to the CPM1A is Host Link via the CPM1-CIF01. Host Link protocol is documented. It can only act as a slave device. The CPM1A has no instructions to initiate communictions. I have NO idea what comm instructions are available in the GE 90-30. Good Luck.

Maybe you should upgrade to CPM2A and then you have TXD/RXD available, and the program stays the same (same I/O but more functionality) Beegee
