I knew it was too good to be true but thought I would ask any way. I am surprised that the person at worked purchased it since it seems to be illegal but to each their own I guess. Streaker69 – How did you find that information about the web site? Thanks Everyone, Bob

Nuisance Bubble Popup From Windows XP
Bob O replied to BobLfoot's topic in Computer Help and Networking
Bob, I don’t have the same bubble but others that are similar and have wondered the same thing myself. I get the local connection, AVG information and one about hidden icons plus others but I just click the X to close them. I would like to disable these bubble also so I will watch this thread and maybe learn something. Thanks, Bob O. Edit...Added Here is a link for balloon tips but it also states that they can't be disabled for individual programs. http://www.pcuser.com.au/pcuser/hs2.nsf/lo...A256DEB001F50A5 I read this same information at MS. -

Well group, I start a new job on Monday and I was told that one of the first things I will be working on is a small panel with a PV and SLC that will have to be UL 508A certified. I was told we are doing this as a training exercise for me and to see how things progress through the shop. I know I am also expected to learn the in and outs of UL 508A listings and I do have a copy of the UL 508A document and have read some but it is kind of dry reading. I will get through the document but if anyone has any advise, pictures of panels that are UL 508A certified or anything that they care to share about this topic I would appreciate it. Thanks, Bob

Thanks for the replies. I will be in over my head at my new job and I am looking forward to it for some strange reason. They are a lot smaller company that came highly recommended. They seem to be well respected and now I am looking to see how I measure up. Thanks Again, Bob

Bob O replied to Mark's topic in Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation
I know this isn't you model but thought it maybe be of some help. I am using the 2540 Signet flow switch to an ML1100 and wire Blk 24VDC, Silver 0VDC and red to my input I/0. I am not using any pullup resistor and have had no problems. I would post my .rss but I am cleaning up the office and have past all this along since I am starting a new job on Monday. Hope this helps, Bob -
1764-RTC is the real time clock for the ML1500 that you have to purchase seperatly. You can access the information/time in the function files. Hope this has helped, Bob O.

How to Identify Thermocouple range
Bob O replied to Gnex's topic in Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation
Genx, I was hopping that the table and the insulation on the TC wires would tell you what type you had but I will assume that did not work. I did search for those numbers you listed but came up empty in my search also. There have been some good suggestion listed above and now it is up to you as to what you want to do. -
How to Identify Thermocouple range
Bob O replied to Gnex's topic in Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation
Genx, Here is a link that may or may not help you determine the type of thermal couple [TC] you have. http://www.omega.com/techref/thermcolorcodes.html Can you also tell us what information you have about the TC or maybe show a picture of the label you talking about? Hope this has helped, Bob O. -

I am no tube bending expert but depending on how it is bent [method], there can be considerable deformation in the tube. Look at the difference in how the exhaust pipe in your exhaust system under your car looks compared to say a motorcycle frame or may be a roll cage in a race car. Edit..Here is a picture of how the tube can be deformed from bending.

Unless I typed it incorrectly, It gives me an error stating Indirect Address not allowed. Counter_Res.pdf

Thinking aloud now, the method I posted I assume will work for most applications but would it be more correct to reset the status bits along with the ACC value? Thanks, Bob Edit...Added PDF Would this be better? COUNTER_ACC_RESET.pdf
-
This assumes your counters are in order from 1 to 100 Hope this helps, Bob O. Edit..You will need to clear N7:1 when you want to reset the counters and then SUB 3 will run until N7:1 = 100 COUNTER_ACC_RESET.RSS

all the OP asked was how to use Analog Card. I wouldn't be too sure about that one......:) What should I do and how do I write the program to meet the application needs?
