Sorry for the delay. It was my day off yesterday. Ok its wierd. I tried inserting the modules 1 by one and downloaded the blank program for each one after IO configuration. No fault in any of them. CPU going to RUN. Then I put back all the modules, downloaded the original program. After I put in RUN mode, the CPU faulted and cleared itself twice (I'v read this is a self clearing fault). Then after this its working ok. Even tried running the machine. Its been 5 hrs and no fault yet. Is there any other procedure to know which slot is causing the problem incase it faults again?

Thanks for the reply Mickey...I removed all the I/O modules in the chasis and placed the CPU in RUN mode...it faulted with the same code...now what do i do...could it be the chasis?? i didnt download a blank program though...will try that also... Regards, Irah

Hi guys, I have an SLC 5/03 CPU in a 10 slot IO chasis; slot 4 and 9 are free. The PLC is giving fault 21h 'remote power failure of an expansion I/O rack'. I changed the power supply unit, the CPU and also pulled out all the I/O wiring. Still the same. It faults the moment I put in RUN mode. When I download program and stays in PROG mode, it doesnt fault. This is why I havent tried changing the chasis. Any suggestions guys? Best Regards, Irah

Hi to all. I have Protool CS v6.0 SP3 and its runtime software installed in a PC both working properly. I need to transfer this to another PC. With AuthorsW I see only 1 licence (for Runtime). I transfer that to new PC and start installation, but Protool CS gives message you do not have authorization. The runtime software had not problem installation and the activation is not corrupt in new pc. Please help. Basically what i mean to ask is how do i transfer Protool CS activation to new PC Keep up the good work you guys. Regards, Irah.

Hi all, Our TP 177 micro touch panel broke and we got a new one but during transfer i get the message "the connected device supports version '13 / software supports upto version 1" I know I have to downgrade OS but from where do i get the procedure or the image. All I have is the original project and no prosave backup. I cant find the pdf manual for tp177 micro also. I have wincc micro 2004 sp1. Any suggestions other than upgrading software to full version wincc flexible?? thanx in advance Regards

Hi there, So I have an s7-200 cpu 226 plc with DI, DO and AI modules and an ethernet CP in the end. I have the program backup but no PPI cable (just ordered and will take time). Can i go online connecting to ethernet CP?? I dont have any details of the CP ip address subnet mask etc. How do i go online?? i cant seem to find the hardware configuration (like simatic manager(some experience)) Regards

i'm sorry PLC 5 and rs logix 5 ...my mistake...and yes i have problem with original plc 5/25 plc and not enhanced 5/20...so i just went through the article... but according to it once you make upload or download then the time stamp and checksum should match rite...y doesnt it in my case (tried only uploading and i dont think i can try downloading; cant stop the machine)...and how safe is it to check the option to ignore time stamp... 1 more thing anyway to change the title??? its still rslogix 500 there ;) Regards.

Hi I have a probelm with (*edited) RS Logix 5 software. I open the project to go online but when i try to, the 'no matching offline file found / upload or upload and merge screen pops up'. Even if i've uploaded and saved one time, the next time same thing happens. No changes made by anyone else. I found the driver path was wrong for this project, but changing this also didnt help. Other projects are working ok. I have this problem with just 2 projects. So its not the software. Maybe some settings in the project. Please help. Also the software communication is very slow and Communication failed comes all the time when i'm online. I am on DH+ network. PLC 5 series. Regards
