Make sure you bit ordering is correct in the driver setup for double words or floats. -
If you can ping the ip of plc it shouldnt be a problem. Have you entered the plc address in unity pro? Make sure the tick mark is next to plc and not simulator -
On the side of the processor you can verify which cpu it is so that you can check if its unity or pl7 processor. First thing you must verify -
I have but on 32bit. What windows 7 are you running? It should be able to run on 64bit aswell -
Hi Kaiser I would say you are correct in using the full load amps of the motors and other equipment in the machine. Each of these devices should have a protection devices which would trip if its device draws more current than it should. I cant see why or how your machine should draw more than the full load currents of all the devices added together.(unless at startup maybe) -
Just to add to ACPI vijeo desinger uses a *.vdz file Unity you will need a stu (version has to be the same) or sta or xef -
In the target properties you must specify to download "file system" Enable "include editor project" User Application you must select secondary drive (your cf card) Your path must be selected to the cf card reader path. This way the program sits on the cf card and loads from there everytime you restart the screen. Also if you want realtime data saved on cf aswell you have to select the secondary drive under "enviroment" "data files" You can then upload the program and logged data from the data manager tool. You also cannot use a generic cf card as you will find errors. Sometimes they work for somethings other things not. So either buy a schneider cf card or instead of using a cf card just use a usb memory stick. From version 5 or 6( not sure which one) you can use generic memory stick as an optional drive. Just check the help file as they do need to bee formatted correctly (cant remember if its NAT or Fat32) -
Whats the setup you have there? Directly from intouch to the drive???????? -
Yes it does work. Your driver version seems a bit old. Not sure if i have the latest but my driver is v2.2 ie12. Go to the schneider website to "product"-----automation and contro'----software----unity once on that page you will find a downloads link on the right then on the left again look for a software and firmware downloads. you will find a driver pack on there -
Havent used it on my own blocks but in your communication blocks there is always a "gest" array thats connected on a in-out pin. The block needs values from this management array and then also writes values into it after every read or write. Just an example -
Using the usb cable set the switch to ter multi Then go to your driver manager. select unitelway and edit. make sure the cable is plugged in. there you will see the com port used by the driver. make sure its the same com as the cable is taking. apply the settings and the driver will do a reset. this should do the trick One more thing. Make sure its a unity premium cpu. older versions require pl7 for programming -
extract from help file Setting Rotary Switches Set the location of the Ethernet remote I/O drop on the network with the rotary switches on the front of the 140 CRA 312 00 module before you apply power to the module and before you download the application: The values you set are applied during a power cycle. If you change the setting of the rotary switches after the module has powered up, the Mod Status LED is activated, and a mismatch message is logged in the module diagnostic. Because new values on the rotary switches are implemented only at the next power cycle, we recommend that you set the value before starting the module. (Valid values: 00 ... 159) The values on the rotary switches combine with the device prefix (for example, 140CRA_) to create the device name. The above figure shows the Tens switch set to 0 and the Ones switch set to 01, for a device name of 140CRA_001. -
Think the main reason was mentioned above. Typically welding cables are rated to 600V. Where as normal motor cables are usually rated to 1000V. -
Yes that should be fine. Your only problem will be that you wont have any symbol names in the program. You must have the original copy of the software openened before uploading from the plc, otherwise you get no symbol names. Hopefully they put some comments in the program sections. -
I almost never use ST so i have never setup timers in st. But what i would do with my little knowledge of ST is to replace the I.35.xxx with a free %m. Then in ladder or fbd set a delay on timer with the i.35.xxx Then let the timers output set the %m that you used in the ST. This is untidy but what the hell -
Hi Bob 984 is a bit before my time. But cant you convert that program to pl7 first? Are you trying to convert straight into unity? I know alot of issues like this are resolved when converting to pl7 1st then from there into unity. If you cant convert the 984 program into pl7 then forget my post hehe Just a thought. -
First of all i would suggest you change the driver settings in Vijeo back to default. (In ur equipment config "communication optimization" change to maximum possible=252 bytes. Also change adressing mode to 0-based addressing. This is just so your adresses line up with the twido plc. Just for test lower your buad-rate to 9600 on both the plc and vijeo.) Im awaiting ur vijeo program so i can check it out 100% -
Sorry but could you please export your vijeo file then post it. Export from ur prjoect manager to *.vdz file -
This should be fairly simple, but ok. Just check on com2 of hmi, there should be a switch to switch between rs485/rs422. Maybe its on rs422. If not send me ur programs on here and i'll check -
for Option2. Q3 - What protocol needs to be setup ? (UNI-TELWAY or modbus RTU)? Q4) - What kind GSM modem I need, where I connect and how setup? Q5) - Is it possible to archive the trend (levels, flow) and show in Magelis touch screen for longer time or this is only HMI for simple task (start, stop, change mode, setup levels, ...) ? -
I didnt see a bench drilling machine, bench bending device, and a vice grip. Mostly for busbar work but still neccesary. Get your hands on a weidmuller tool catalogue. They have some awesome tools. Most of which i dont have yet but definatley gonna get soon -
Can the operator put item 1,2 or 3 at any time into any tank? Or must he put item 1 then 2 then 3 in tank A, and item 1 then 2 then 3 in tank B? As Micheal suggested if its a sequence you can disable and enable buttons according to which step they are in at that moment -
I havent seen a tutorial on the net but the help file does show how to use most functions. Also if you dont know how to do something you can always just ask on here. Well be more than willing -
How are you doing? Firstly congrats on winning the world cup. Ive been away from my office for a long time now. What does the xbtot2110 look like? I cannot find anything about it. Maybe its given that part number in Asia. The closest that I know of is the xbtgt2110. What software do you use to program it? Regards
