  1. Yes you can do this. You must setup users with their passwords Then create a button for the operator to login. Then on the button that goes to the page 3/4 under advanced select the security group that is allowed to access this page. Just remember that when the operator goes out of that page to logout the user. You can do this via time-out and scripting or on the button that exits page 3/4

  2. Hi Kaiser I would say you are correct in using the full load amps of the motors and other equipment in the machine. Each of these devices should have a protection devices which would trip if its device draws more current than it should. I cant see why or how your machine should draw more than the full load currents of all the devices added together.(unless at startup maybe)

  3. In the target properties you must specify to download "file system" Enable "include editor project" User Application you must select secondary drive (your cf card) Your path must be selected to the cf card reader path. This way the program sits on the cf card and loads from there everytime you restart the screen. Also if you want realtime data saved on cf aswell you have to select the secondary drive under "enviroment" "data files" You can then upload the program and logged data from the data manager tool. You also cannot use a generic cf card as you will find errors. Sometimes they work for somethings other things not. So either buy a schneider cf card or instead of using a cf card just use a usb memory stick. From version 5 or 6( not sure which one) you can use generic memory stick as an optional drive. Just check the help file as they do need to bee formatted correctly (cant remember if its NAT or Fat32)

  4. Using the usb cable set the switch to ter multi Then go to your driver manager. select unitelway and edit. make sure the cable is plugged in. there you will see the com port used by the driver. make sure its the same com as the cable is taking. apply the settings and the driver will do a reset. this should do the trick One more thing. Make sure its a unity premium cpu. older versions require pl7 for programming

  5. extract from help file Setting Rotary Switches Set the location of the Ethernet remote I/O drop on the network with the rotary switches on the front of the 140 CRA 312 00 module before you apply power to the module and before you download the application: The values you set are applied during a power cycle. If you change the setting of the rotary switches after the module has powered up, the Mod Status LED is activated, and a mismatch message is logged in the module diagnostic. Because new values on the rotary switches are implemented only at the next power cycle, we recommend that you set the value before starting the module. (Valid values: 00 ... 159) The values on the rotary switches combine with the device prefix (for example, 140CRA_) to create the device name. The above figure shows the Tens switch set to 0 and the Ones switch set to 01, for a device name of 140CRA_001.

  6. Yes that should be fine. Your only problem will be that you wont have any symbol names in the program. You must have the original copy of the software openened before uploading from the plc, otherwise you get no symbol names. Hopefully they put some comments in the program sections.

  7. First of all i would suggest you change the driver settings in Vijeo back to default. (In ur equipment config "communication optimization" change to maximum possible=252 bytes. Also change adressing mode to 0-based addressing. This is just so your adresses line up with the twido plc. Just for test lower your buad-rate to 9600 on both the plc and vijeo.) Im awaiting ur vijeo program so i can check it out 100%

  8. I didnt see a bench drilling machine, bench bending device, and a vice grip. Mostly for busbar work but still neccesary. Get your hands on a weidmuller tool catalogue. They have some awesome tools. Most of which i dont have yet but definatley gonna get soon
