  1. As i asked in plcs.net, do you want to print the variables with their adress and comments, or the actual vallues in the variables
  2. power loss when starting

Just wire it straight from the battery with short circuit protection some where inbetween. If you wire a radio this way it keeps going even when you start the car so I doubt he will have problems at startup
  3. Relay Logic Brain Teaser

You better hope he doesnt read this thread
  4. PICO, Zelio or LOGO!

different strokes for different okes......... IVe used both logo and Zelio and prefer the Zelio. Logo and Zelio is basically the same, to me the Zelio-soft just looks and handles alot easier. Just download both and find out for urself. Its free and has simulators so you can play around with them
  5. I/O wiring to terminal?

Sorry for bringing this up again. I would almost always insist on taking the in and outputs to interface modules which is fused and has led indication (if your using high density cards). Would rather blow a fuse than a input or output. But then again if the customer is strapped for cash or there is no panel space you must do what you have to.
  6. Just a question here. Under your unitelway driver configuration, there is a virtual com port tick box. I have used this to connect to XBT's with usb to serial convertors. Cant this maybe be used to solve his problem? Then again Im not sure you can have two unitelway drivers running at the same time......maybe. I'll do some test later tonight
