Thanks for both of you to respond. The problem what we are facing is when switched on the amplifier the motor tries to run but stops after not even completing a round. Can I use a battery and set the parameter no 50 to ooo1 switch on and off so that the servo can sense the absolute position and once equipment is ready for operation can i change it to 0. How the encoder is aligned with the motor or is there any problem with the encoder. The equipment is controlled by the PLC FX2N-10GM and there is no alarm/error in the plc.TOP NUMBER parameter no 50 abs interface effective parameter no 51 ABS INPUT TOP NUMBER PARAMETER NO 52 ABS OUTPUT CHANDRU

One of our machine which is recently imported is having a MRJ2S-40A Servo and the relevant motor connected to it is HC-MF-S43 and when checked the battery inside the servo is missing/not found . 1.IS IT NECESSARY TO HAVE A BATTERY inside the servo amplifier in order to keep the absolute position. or 2.The battery is optional. When going through the relevant manuals it is mentioned that all the HC series motors do need a battery connection in the servo. Pl help. CHANDRU

HELLO FRIENDS, IAM NOT QUITE FAMILIAR WITH ALLEN BRADELY PLC'S. IS THERE ANY COMMON PLC PROGRAMMING SOFTWARE AVAILABLE FROM ALLEN BRADELY FOR ALL THEIR TYPES OF PLC'S AND IF SO PLEASE TELL ME THE SAME OR HELP ME BY MENTIONING THE TYPES OF SOFTWARES REQUIRED AND THE CORRESPONDING PLC IT SUPPORTS.
