You can use program ProSave it is include in ProTool software.

You can use MicroComputing it is Siemens software . It has a .ocx component and you can implement it in Vb or Excel Vb and use it to connetct PLC to Excel. But i'm not sure that Siemens sell MicroComputing yet. You must have and PC/PPI Siemens cable also.

First uninstall everything siemens software (if it is pissible ) do defragment for HDD and then install first Step7, MocroWin (if you use ) and last ProTool. If then doesn,t work corect again , you must reinstall Windows, and do this steps again.

You can change resolution to 800x600 for everyone screen in your project end where is necessery to muve objects. I don't know tool that do this !

You can use DOCPRO it is a Siemens software to prepare and print documentation for your Step7 project, but it is not included in instalation of the Step7. It is separate software.

Thank you panic ! Do you know how can I connect Barcode printer to S7 200 Siemens PLC, is ot necessary to write driver program in the PLC. I don't know how the printer work. I think that i will send a numbers to printer and it will convert to barcode ;) .

You can change receive buffer in serial port to small size. In Control Panel -> System -> Device Manager ->Ports chose one port and then go to properties -> Port settings and dhen Advanced and try. Sometimes siemens cables and transmitters doesn't work with no siemens notebooks.

I need to archive on a paper some values from my plc program. I think to use a printer for this job but in siemens doc's i see that must use some serial to parallel convertor. So if you know some schemes to build my own converter or some model of converter please write me. Thanks

Why you use ModBus protocol??? U can transfer project to OP77B by many ways: serial, usb and MPI protokol. When switch on the power of OP check the setup - maybe there is something wrong.
