  1. Thanks all for the reply, After talking to our parts guy, I'm a 3rd shifter kept in the dark, I realize that we have been buying these parts from the OEM and their parts are now depleated. Hence the letter that we will no longer be able to buy them. I think after looking, that the ArmorBlock doesn't look that much different from the FlexArmor. We will check with our AB rep and have to bone up on our RSNetWorks to get these installed, configured and running. Thanks Again Duane at the bottling plant.
  2. Hi All, We currently have a machine with 3 nodes of 1798 FlexArmor. We are told by the OEM that they will no longer be able to supply nor will AB, any replacement modules. 1. Does this apply only for FlexArmor not Flex I/O, also on the DeviceNet. 2. What are the upgrade options? 3. Do we stick with AB or not? IFM Ozzy? Has anyone done this type of upgrade yet? 4. This is a ControlLogics With DeviceNet Soda Packaging Machine. Thanks in advance for your time. Duane
  3. Thank you, Thats kinda what I thought and had done last night, I will Try and C/O five a night and still put out all the other fires that get started at this sugar water bottling plant (big name) with all A/B controls. Duane with tired fingers
  4. We are currently in the process of replacing about 50 old 1305's with either powerflex 4's or 40's. We've had this DriveExecutive software for a while to moniter and keep a record of parameters. I found a conversion tool in the software but the only options I can find are for going from a 70 to a 700. Do any of you know if I am missing something in my software or do I have to manually compare parameters and edit line for line. Tired Fingers
  5. Is this compare utility for RS 5000 revision specific? I have version 13.03 that I installed the compare utility from. Will this work on eariler revisions?
  6. I have tried to reinstall the compare already, same message after re-install. this isn't a XP Pro message it comes out of the compare program after I place the two files I want to compare, hit run, small windows with the blue bar graphs do their work and just when you think you will get the two side by side compare screens thie message comes up about the library not registered. This program works on other files (.ACD) just not on these.
  7. I'm trying tonight to use RSL Compare to see what changes have occured over the last couple of days that our staff and that of the OEM have made to a packaging machine. The program RSL Compare works because I've tried it on other projects. I get the message stating "Library Not Registered". Not sure where to go from here, any help ont there? My first post, but have been lurking for years, I've learned alot from you all, thanks
