What is the meaning of the Symbols on the attached P&ID drawing? For instance, SIC : BRV : PR : PG : Pressure Gauge XI : Unclassified Indicator XS : Unclassified Status SG : WIC : Weight Indicator Contoller WS : Weight Status SHX : XV : Unclassified Valve Thanks for your help in advance. ISA has a set of standards that help define PID symbology and tag names. Like so- LINK (Bob's link is a cleaner version of what I just linked to. Google has numerous sources for this) SIC - Speed Indicating Controlloer
