4 posts in this topic

A couple of weeks ago someone was showing me a this driver. It was errored whenever he tried to delete it he would get the blue screen and his computer would shut down. Now a maintanance tech has added it to the training computer and the same thing happens wou cant delete it change it or anything. Does anyone know what is going on and how I can get rid of it.

Try to uncheck the autobrowse, then stop it, then delete it

What's going on is that you've defined a driver for an old 1784-KTX card, which uses an ISA bus interface. Because your computer doesn't have an ISA bus, when RSLinx tries to get direct access to that hardware, Windows defends itself by playing dead. Probably you'll have to remove those driver definitions by editing the Windows Registry. RA Knowledgebase Answer ID # 31256 has some details on which ones.
