DF1 Splitters

Hi I have an application where I need to add a second HMI to an existing system, the system currently comprises a SLC5/04 and a Panelview 600 connected via DF1, the second HMI only has DF1 available, so I was thinking of using a DF1 splitter (1747-DPS1), any comment/ better suggestions would be appreciated Cheers

I've seen a post or two about the DF-1 splitters. Reviews were mixed. It might be a little pricey but using a 1761-NET-ENI at the 5/04 and each HMI would probably work and would give you ethernet accessability to all parts.
