Storing Values and CLX

When I am in the middle of a process, if power fails, are the values the in the controller at that time restored when power is restored? According to my little experience, the answer is no. The values that are restored are the values that were in the program at the time it was loaded into the controller. Is this correct, or am I overlooking something? I am using a ControLogix controller. Thanks.

Your controller probablly has EEPROM or CompactFlash card and set to restore on the power up. Without it controller tags will retain last values.

There is one other possibility, depending on how your logic is crafted. I often perform loads to variables on the first scan, this would occur on power loss as well.
