Posted 15 May 2006 New installation of RSView SE 4.00. Trying to open an existing application created in version 3.2. Created application created HMI server Imported project Error message on all screens during import (DMM(9:1) could not import "screenname" for displays after import completed i went to displays and imported the old screens one at a time. They imported fine bin when i go to try and open them i get an error message saying (component does not exist: "screenname") anyone have any ideas. thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I looked up the DMM error message in the Rockwell Knowledgebase, and it seems like this type of error usually happens if you try to go backwards (importing an RSView SE 4.0 project to version 3.2). Posted 19 May 2006 Did you get this problem resolved. I had the same error message as you are getting under different circumstances. I found a knowledgebase article saying to empty the cache. Basically on all of your clients and servers you need to go into internet explorer to tools - options- and delete files on the general tab. Choose to delete all offline content. Somehow they have their stuff tied to the offline content of IE, and eptying the cache fixes this error. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
