Does anyone have a way to program one of these unit using windows software? I have the old DOS base software that came with the unit. I would like to be able to program it for a single my newer laptop with the USB to serial cable. USB to Serial cable works well with window application but not with DOS. Thanks MrChickII

I'm stretching the limits of my knowledge here, but I seem to recall that there where sys files you could load to amke the pcmcia slot work in dos 6.22 and then use a cpmcia to serial adpter. You might also find similiar sys files for making usb work. Be sure and specify your new adapter a com1 or com 2 and use the age old AT standard settings. Some older Dos programs are hard coded to the old At spec and don't like windows messing with the IRQ and Memory usage settings as it does.
