Help reqd, My MLX 1000 PLC stopped communicating abruptly while connected on serial link . No fault indicated. Is there any way to bring it back to factory defaults?. I use RSLinx Lite. and RSLogix500. I can't even configure a driver in RSLinx? PLC is left in RUN mode. Edited 21 Feb 2006 by shrirampendse

Do you know what was happening when it quit communicating. Were you downloading a program or changing communications? I could be something as simple as a baud rate change. Try going to the driver you were communicating with in RsLinx and go to configure driver, then try an Auto Configure and see if it can negotiate communications
