Creating New Ladders

How can I creat and move certain rungs to different ladders? I would like to break up the code into operations and put each operation on a different ladder. Should I do this for clairity or is there a better way? Thanks.

Which PLC? Generally speaking, just create new ladder files, cut and paste the rungs. Don't forget to call the new ladder files from the main ladder.

It was a mirco logix 1200 I tried right clicking the ladders and no "new" option was available.

Go to the 'Program Files' folder symbol. Right-click there.
