S7-300 SF light flashing

Hi Folks....I have a spare S7-315-DP processor at work with a SF fault light flashing. I can't connect to it via the Step7 software. I sent it out to one of the local electronic repair shops but it came back "unable to repair". I can't seem to find in the manual a listing with just the SF light flashing {by itself} Does anyone have any ideas or is this thing a pretty paper weight now? Thanks and later...Todd S7_300.pdf
