S7 trial packs

Due to a career change, I'm switching from RS logix 500 to Siemens S7 and I have not even seen the layout of the software. Can anyone provide me with information or software links were I can get free downloads or advice on converting over to Siemens. Thanks Mart

www.sea.siemens.com This is the Siemens Energy &Automation website. There is plenty of info on Step 7 available in the Automation section. They do offer a CD with a walkthru of Step 7 on it. The Step 7 Step By Step CD is over 400 megs, with audio and video walkthrus. I can't post it. If you want to contact a Siemens distributor, ask for the Simatic Software Demo CD, order number 6ZB5310-0JU30-2FA1, December 2004. It's 4 CDs (English and German) and includes everything you need. The distributor can get it from Siemens Literature Fulfillment (how I got mine)...
