Posted 1 February HELP! I have been tasked with setting the security levels on this GOT 1000 HMI on GT Designer 3, i have come into a problem and this error message keeps appearing: "Delete OS from GOT since authentication does not work if OS for Operator Authentication is installed". I have recently with success set the password levels on a new HMI GOT 2000 and was able to create a log in and log out switch within the program so i understand the procedure. Posted 1 February You are using level security instead of password security. There was password securirty used in the previous project. Just delete the os or reinstall the Boot OS Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Posted 5 February Just reinstall the BootOS it's the easiest So just go to => Communication => Write to GOT => comms settings => Select BootOS from thje drop down and press GOT Write button Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
