Posted 3 Aug 2023 Hello Every body Peeps, I downloaded the GOT2000 comms manual where it describes how to connect to the D700 DIRECT on the PU port. I then placed the D700 template of the HMI from GT Designer 3 onto a GS2107WTBD. Parametized the drive, etc. In the template I changed the devices to match the station of my drive which is 1. i.e. on the template I had Device 0-0 SP122, for start forward, i then put my station no. 0-1 SP122, and that works. However, other than that, and the stop nothing else works, despite changing the station no. on devices, but I read in manual that if Pr 37 not 0 and SP127 = 1, then HMi cannot monitor SP109-111 which are devices used in my amps and speed setting, which they are not displaying on HMI. I can change Pr 37 to anything other than 0, but i have no idea how to change SP127, which description is Link parameter extended setting. Any ideas? Thanks. Posted 9 Aug 2023 Hi Frank, On the D700 side: Pr. 117=0, Pr. 118=192, Pr. 119=10(7, 1stopbit), Pr.120=1(odd), Pr. 123=50 (comm wait time), Pr 549=0 Pr. 340=10 (Net mode on startup) Please note an older GS2107-WTBD does not support RS485. (the new WTBD-N does support) So I connected via the SC-FRPC programming cable on the RS232 port of the GOT. I got here only the old version of the GS2110 HMI. See attached sample I used successfully. Good luck! SmallDemoGS21.GTX 1 person likes this

SmallDemoGS21.GTX I tried your software, still nothing works. i have tripple double, and more times checked the pin out in my cable, everyone i have asked says it is correct. I must be doing something wrong in the software then. I am connecting my GT2107 direct from RS422/485 to PU port on D700 my devices are then for 1 station only. The Got communication manual says i have to set up Got terminating resistor at 330 see attached picture. my cable pins are on RJ45 1 brown, then 3 is green, 6 is white green, 5 is blue, 4 is white blue the connection to the RS422/485 is PIN RJ45 to RS422/485 5 to 2 4 to 7 3 to 1 6 to 6 1 to 5 What could i have wrong? Any one help!!
