Poke DDE link from excel

Hi. I have a worksheet in excel where I connect to several different Allen Bradley Plcs reading lots of different integers. 

I have setup up a start stop button to control a conveyor. To get it to work I have to use it from a different worksheet on my page.(tab2)

The worksheet where my poke works only reads integers from the plc I'm poking. 

So my question is a, can you poke a single plc on a worksheet which has multiple plcs linked already (reads) on that page? 

Can you poke two different plcs from a single worksheet. Say one button to poke a 1 to plc xyz and a button to poke 0 to plc abc.

what you describe can be done.  

especially if you utilize VBA coding.

That said DDE was deprecated some time ago and replaced with OPC.

you should consider writing it in OPC.
