Micrologix 1400 ASCII Send to HyperTerminal

Hello everyone,

I have to send and receive data between Micrlogix 1400 PLC and HyperTerminal. I have successfully receive data from HyperTerminal using ARL instruction. To send data to HyperTerminal I used AWA & AWT, But I cant send to HyperTerminal. Please suggest .

Just a thought but try removing the ONS B3;1/5 and add a rung XIC R6:0/DN OTU B3:1/1.  Idea being keep B3:1/1 true until the write is done.

I have done the same but not working. AWA instruction shows character send count but not getting on HyperTerminal. Also in channel Confi I had change delete mode ignore to printer but no change.

what firmware are you using?

Alsoin the 1st rung, replace with first scan S1:15 bit to clear the buffer.
