5 posts in this topic

Hi, i have a problem with S5 115 CPU 943. The PLC had worked very good, but i change modules for another PLC, but when i put them on their rack and power on, i have the alarm on St and BASP Leds are light up. I dont have much experience with S5, and i dont have EPROM for over all reset.

Please can you help me how to fix this problem?

Thank you in advance.

Hi kusha02,

you changed the modules for which reason? defective or the CPU was already on stop?

Have you changed with same type of modules?

The PLC battery was in good condition before switch of the power supply?

Please explain more about story...

Hi Dekor

I have two PLC with same data's. And in one PLC i have a problem, but i didn't know the exact reason. And for that i took modules from the PLC that has work.

After i see that both modules have the same problem, i look elsewhere and i find the problem. After that i install modules in their places. In the first PLC i have a EPROM with program on it, and i go in over all restart, and after that the PLC start to work, but on second PLC that has work very good until i take their modules, when i install modules i have the alarm on St and BASP and machine hast stopped.

I have checked for modules again if they are in their places but nothing happened.

Thank in advance.

Hi,

I am afraid that you miss the program from the good CPU after switching of the power supply.

I understood correct that you have two equipment identical?

What is your experience with Step5?
