return to orignal configuration

I have PLC SLC 500/3 , and PV550 , my PV now faulty , i found one with serial port only 9pin DH485 I have to change plc bottom port configuration to be DH485 and using 1747-UIC for programming my PLC if my old PV repaired could I return the configuration to the orignal ??

Yes, just reconfigure (program) the port.
