micrologix 1000 analogue

Please I have a micrologix 1000 analogue processor. I intend to connect a 10ohm potentiometer to the input and a DC voltmeter to the output to enable me practice analogue instruction.I have read the bulletin 1761-1000 from Allen Bradley time and time again but was unable to configue how this instruction should work.I would appreciate if anyone can help me.If possible with a wiring diagram and ladder logic. 10 Ohm is too low, you mean 10k Ohm? the analog I/O are built in and all you need to do to use them is to read and write I/O table. normally you would scale the signals so they correspond to your process (0-100%, 0-10V, -40.._125degC whatever). check what scaling instructions are supported (SCP and/or SCL).
