DATA History and barcode 18 chars

Hi I wanted to show barcodes read by PLC - it has 9 words - ascii. I transformed it to binary number, but still it has 18 digits - 4,5 word. Data history accept double - 4 - words - not enough Is it possible to show such a number in DATA history? Or how I can show barcode as a history if DATA history cannot do that Thanks PAwel
