To control others going online by using any passwords

Hai, I am new to this forum and i am new to AB logic. Here i am having some problem please help me on this. I am using RSlogic - 5000 i want control others going online by using some password could it possible id possible please guide me how to use. Now i am using CPU security tool to product others going online, but problem in this if power failure or CPU switched off after that if i make it on CPU my HMI is not coming online for the i need to go online to CPU then only HMI is coming healthy. Can any one please help me any other option is there to product CPU by others going online. Thanks

Do you have a Panelview plus HMI? After configuring the password using the CPU security tool and the HMI does not re-establish a connection, then upgrade the firmware on the HMI. Edited 17 Jul 2013 by Donovanr

Hai Donovanr, Thanks a lot for your information as you said i am using Panelview plus HMI's(model - 1200 & 1500 ) If i update the firmware on the HMI i need to go online after CPU off & ON. Thanks
