Concatenation and truncate in FactoryTalk

Hi there! I have a pv 1200 which need to migrate to a PV 1000 plus actual communication with the PLC is made by RIO and need to migrate to DF1, I presented a routing problem because in the current configuration of logic arrangements made ??within integer binary data and must concatenate and truncate data in FactoryTalk because customer request PLC logic should not be modified my question is anyone knows how to truncate and concatenate an integer data in FactoryTalk?
