function on q series

hello! i`m new member here and want to learn about q series function. i used to fx series and now i got new project with q series ( Q03UDEC ) as controller. so need for your help.. can u explain about how F device ( Annunciator ) work? i got the manual and read them but my brain is stuck. T_T. i want to try directly but get the cpu around next week. just for add, I`m indonesian. now working in japan as engineer. so basically not to good with english or japanese either. so please use simple word. thanks

It's in the manual. You use SET to turn on an F bit. The number of that bit gets stored into a table. And the USER light on the CPU turns on. They are optional, there is no reason you have to use them.

basically can i think it as ordinary coil ( M device )?

They can be used as normal M coils, but the right thing to do with a Q Series if you need more M bits is to go into PLC parameters and reduce the number of F bits and increase the number of M bits.
