What is needed for remote location?

I have a slc 5/04 and want to remotely program it from home. What is needed to do this? I have RS logix an Links at both locations< but what other cards to I need? Edited 22 Nov 2012 by sammy

It depends how much control and access you have to the Network at your target location. You could set up a VPN to your target PC or even to a PLC. One option is to use something like logmein to remote into your PC. www.logmein.com Stu....

There is also an alternative to Ewon, called a SiteManager. Also, it's not too expensive for a remote plc access device. We use the SiteManager in our company, and we only have a few programmers. But it is a whole lot easier than to use VPN connections or even travel to the destination for programming.
