MELSERVO SERVO MOTOR HA-FF38 and MR-J2S-40B driver

Hello, I have received two new servo motors HA-FF-38-UE-S1 (8000 RPM, 110V, 2A, 300W, 3.1Kg) and unfortunately I did not find this motor in MRCONFIG. How can I add this motor in MRCONFIG in order to use it with MR-J2S-40B servo diver? Thanks, Razvan

-S1 would indicate a special model. That motor was designed for use with the MR-J2, and the MR-J2S is capable of driving the older motor.

Hello, I want to use it with MR-J2S-40B, and I got error 1A, witch means that are not compatible. Interesting part is that should work with this driver. Any idea how to pair them? Maybe a new firmware for the 40B (now is BCD-B26W200 B5). Thank you, Razvan

Firmware in the servos cannot be upgraded. I would bet being a special motor that there is also a special amplifier required. In the US, and -S models they always tell us to go back to the machine builder, because it is a special made for a particular OEM and not sold via normal channels.
