GT Designer problems

I have created some screens using GT Designer 1.37P. I have upgraded to 1.40S and I received the error Unsupported GOT type is set and The project cannot be opened in the current version of GT Designer3 when I was trying to open the project previously created. I have reinstalled GT Designer 1.37P and still receive the same error, although the project was created in 1.37P. Could be the problem be that the GOT is not connected now to computer USB?

where did you get version 1.40

1.40S was released in the US last week. Perhaps your project has been corrupted. Single file save or workspace format? You do not need to have it connected to the PC to open the project.

Thank you for replies. The file was corrupted and I couldn't recover it, so I started all over again project.
