Synchronize Motor Speed cable with stepper motor

1 post in this topic

I doing a new project using Mitsubishi PLC Q Series which require to roll up some cable into a drum. I trying few formula to row up to Synchronize the Motor Drum Speed with the Linear Stepper Motor speed Cable Size : 10mm OD Motor Drum Speed : 1.000 mtr/s (Fixed Speed) 0.75kw Brake motor with Inverter control Drum Size Inner Shaft OD : 318 Diameter Inner Shaft Length : 100 mm Linear Guide Stepper Motor length : 100mm 0.2kw Servo Motor using Delta ASD-B0221-A Driver Setting at 10000 pulse speed equivalence moving 10 mm/s Assuming of all condition above from start to end of the inner shaft i will row up to 10 circle per row 1st row total roll up length = 10.0 mtr 2nd row total roll up length = 10.6 mtr 3rd row total roll up length = 11.2 mtr 4th row total roll up length = 11.9 mtr 5th row total roll up length = 12.5 mtr as it increasing its own diameter after each row, by calculation it increasing by 6% each row 1st row stepper speed = 10 mm/s 2nd row stepper speed = 9.4 mm/s 3rd row stepper speed = 8.8 mm/s 4th row stepper speed = 8.3 mm/s 5th row stepper speed = 7.8 mm/s I am decreasing the stepper motor speed 6% after each completed row i have not try this yet, as all this is my theory only & also i attach my cable drum size & Linear guide stepper motor. i open to other suggestion, or there other formula for calculating the cable synchronize. Thank you Regards sttchui Cable Drum.pdf
