migrating AB mindset to Omron

Hi, I am trying to learn CX programmer. My background is Allen Bradley. I have 3 sets of questions: 1.What is the difference in Auxilliary bits, Working bits, and CIO bits? 2.Can I move an integer into a location N10:3 (AB reference) and later parse out each the 16 bits? [in other words, create a status word that has no decimal significance, just place holders for status bits] 2. Is there documentation that describes how to communicate between Mcrsft Excel and data registries (to and from) Thanks, Ben

Not sure, but there is an ActiveX here that allows this function that is quite easy to use. There is also DDE links via CX-Server, but the ActiveX is the better option.. IMO anyway.
