NS Runtime to Hostlink C Series

I would like to replace an existing HMI connected to a CQM1 with a PC running NS Runtime. In NS Runtime there is no option to select a C series CPU, is there a way around this. Also I have found even if I select a NS15 for example it is not possible to run simulation connected to the real world PLC unless its a CS/CJ. Does anybody have any ideas for a work around ? Have never tried myself but according to the manual C series is not supported by NS-Runtime... And you are correct, CX-Simulator only supports CS/CJ/CP series.
