RSView ME on Windows 7

8 posts in this topic

Has anyone here had experience running Factory RSView ME on Windows 7? The reason I'm asking is because we are having to switch to Windows 7 next year so we got a IBM Work station to use as our engineering station and Factory talk ME is super slow and locks up a good bit while I'm troubleshooting problems and what not. I also know Rockwell says it doesn't support Windows 7 yet, so has anyone had any experience with it?

You will need to upgrade to 6.0 for Windows 7 support.

No 64-bit support yet. We're currently working on that, but unfortunately don't have a timeline yet.
