  1. I have a CompactLogix L35E PLC with two analog output cards, that's dropping the output current below 2mA which is causing my AC Tech drive to show a follower fault. I'm using two different cards powering 6 different drives and all 6 drives are showing the same follower fault which means that the drive's speed signal is dropping below 2mA and it's supposed to be putting out 4-20mA. What could be causing this problem? I've changed out both of the analog output cards and the power supply in the rack, I'm out of choices on hardware to change besides the main PLC itself. I'm doing the scaling for the 4-20mA in a Scaling block on the PLC and i tested it yesterday and what it was saying it was putting out in the PLC scale block was what i was measuring at that time with a multimeter on the drive, but it wasn't faulted at that time. When it was faulted, it was saying in the scale block it was putting out 7.45mA but i was measuring 0.02mA. Any ideas on what is causing this drop in current? Ive added a screen shot of my scaling block and the parameters for it. 2. RSView ME on Windows 7

    ok thanks a lot
  3. RSView ME on Windows 7

how about with 64 bit operating system?
  4. RSView ME on Windows 7

    We actually have 5.1.
  5. RSView ME on Windows 7

The version we use is 5.2 i believe, have you ran into any problems with this version and windows 7?
  6. Has anyone here had experience running Factory RSView ME on Windows 7? The reason I'm asking is because we are having to switch to Windows 7 next year so we got a IBM Work station to use as our engineering station and Factory talk ME is super slow and locks up a good bit while I'm troubleshooting problems and what not. I also know Rockwell says it doesn't support Windows 7 yet, so has anyone had any experience with it?
  7. RSLinx not recognizing PLC's

Ok that worked guys, i had to install all five driver revisions but it works now, thanks alot
  8. RSLinx not recognizing PLC's

    ok ill try that, thanks
  9. RSLinx not recognizing PLC's

It shows a ? mark while its browsing, if i could add an attachment i could show you the screen shot, its a big yellow ?, it does however show a big red X for a few seconds then goes back to the ?
  10. graphics multistate rsview me

Libraries have both motors and valves and most of them have indicators on them to tell on or off.
  11. HMI Operator Panel Opinions

All i have ever used is Allen Bradley Panel View + so im kinda biased but i would recommend them if you have RSView program to make your program in. Also +'s are expensive compared to others, but they handle about everything we can throw at them, and we wash down every night with hot water pressure washers and they hold up very well.
  12. RSview ME help

There may be, but i usually get the first screen how i like it then just copy the screens and just go back and change the numbers and the tag values because your going to have to change the tags anyway i would think.
  13. I have a problem with the RSLinx on one of our computers not recognizing PLC's anymore, im trying to log a compact logix tag with RSview but RSLinx shows up the IP Address as a ? (or unrecognized device). I have a couple more PLC's already in and they show up right but now i get question marks when i try and add new ones. The new PLC is setup the same as the ones that are working also, any ideas what would be causing this?
