Master control instructions in GX IEC Developer

2 posts in this topic

Hello, I am working on an old plc program (sharpplc) to port it to a melsec fx series plc. The old program uses master control instructions, and the ladderdiagram has an additional baseline, every time an mcs is used. So every input condition behind that baseline in not repeated in the ladderdiagram, but works in real life. Now, GX IEC Developer also has master control function blocks, but in the help it sais that GX IEC Developer doesn't allow a ".vivid programming of the MC/MCR instructions". So they show the ladderdiagram of a MELSEC MEDOC as an example. What can I do? -Can I use a seperate POU for it? - Draw all the input conditions as the are? Any suggestions? And why are the function blocks present in GX IEC Developer, when one cannot use them? (according to the help) Thanks for helping, Rklan

In the task pool you can set if POU's should run or not depending on interrupt or Device status etc. Edited by Gambit
