Multiple OTE Checks

4 posts in this topic

In Contrologix 5000: I already know about checking for individual tags, but I was wondering if there was a way to do an "over all" multiple OTE check....to see if I have any OTE's with the same Output tagname?

Do a Verify All. With default settings, it will show all double-coils as warnings. You might need to check your options, because I think you can turn that off.

In the menus, choose "Tools->Options", then select the "Ladder Editor" category..... Later versions of RSLogix5000 have the option to "Enable Duplicate Destructive Bit Detection" - I think it came in with V15. If using an earlier version - use the Cross-reference facility, and double-click the "destructive" column so that the "Y"s appear at the top of the list. Refer back to the left to see what instructions are referenced. hth Edited by daba

This isn't automatically faulty logic. If your subroutine calls, programs, or tasks are not operating simultaneously, the program can be perfectly valid.
