I wrote this document a long time ago about three or four years ago to help people make their own choices on how to upgrade their computers. I suppose that some of the information is OUTDATED but here you will learn allot about computer hardware by reading through this document. As a Controls Engineer you'll find yourself more and more required to understand computer hardware and most defiantly understand networking.
