RS Linx trigger for MS Access

I have the code written to recieve info in my MS Access dbase through my RS Linx. the only issue I have now is triggering the DDERead on a change of true/false from the PLC. I have it working on a timer now through MS access, however, that is not what I need. Can someone point me in the right direction.

So you have the timer triggering the DDERead and it works, but you want the PLC to trigger the read. What you are talking about is something I have mnever done, called an unsolicited message. As I understand it the PLC messages the Application which is waiting for data. Saw this done once, but did not have time to get "under the hood". Maybe others can help.
