I am supplying a Magelis XBTGT 4230 HMI for a project and the spec asked for a 128MB CF card part # XBTZGM128. I was quoted $183.00 for the CF card! Question: Can I use an off the shelf CF card which I can get for $35.00 (1GB) in any computer store? Tele tech support says no. I don't really believe them!! Thanks

In general topics there is a forum for HMI. And Magelis is made by Modicon/Telemecanique. Might want to also try those 2 forums to get more answers. I haven't touched a Magelis in years, since before the XBT-G model existed, not sure if a standard CF would work.

I confirm you can't use normal CF card. If you want to know it is possible to "crack" them... You now it's forbidden!!
